Hiding Pages on the Site Menu

  1. Navigate to the page (which needs to be hidden from appearing on the menu) in the content tree and click on the 'Properties' option.

    For example, we shall consider a sample corporate site and navigate to the 'IT Consulting' page under 'Services' and do a right click on it.

    Click on the 'Properties' option in the context menu.

  2. Click on the 'Navigation' option.

  3. Click on the 'Check out' button to make the document editable.

  4. Uncheck the 'Show in navigation' check box under 'Basic properties'.

  5. Click on the 'Check in' and then on the 'Publish' button to hide the page from appearing on the menu.
