Highlight the text which needs to be linked to some part of the website. In our example, we've highlighted the static text 'IT Consulting' on Services page.
Click on the 'Insert/Edit link' icon in the WYSIWYG editor toolbar.
A new overlay window - 'Insert link' opens up.
This window has several tabs giving you options to choose what target the link should point at; possible choices are Attachments, any document under Content/Media-libraries or Web/Anchor/E-mail.
In our example, let's link the highlighted text to 'IT Consulting' webpage under 'Services' tab. Follow the instructions as shown in the below picture.
Note: If some text on a particular page of a website needs to be linked to another page (target) of the same website, like in the example discussed, then do not link it by providing its complete URL in Web tab's URL field.
Click on the 'Save' button and then on the 'Preview' tab to verify that the selected static text is linking to the target webpage.
Click on the 'Edit' tab to come back to the edit mode; when changes look okay, click on the 'Check in' button and then on the 'Publish' button to make the changes go live.
